Hello,
I am not sure which mechanism I have to use for following problem:
I am in SAP NW BI at Transaction /crystal/rptadmin and use "show report" at a already published crystal report.
First of all I get an authentication screen for the SAP NW BI, after I have entered logon data I get a IE-Screen: "Anmelden bei OpenDocument" (Logon to OpenDocument).
1.) How do I prevent the logon Screen for SAP NW BI?
2.) How do I prevent the logon Site of OpenDocument?
A short answer like "configure SNC", "configure Einzelanmeldung" as described in "SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise-Administratorhandbuch" would be sufficient.
Best Regards
Andreas
Hi Andreas,
The repeat logon behaviour you describe should be solved by implementing SNC - it appears as though your server side trust is not configured correctly.
I hope this is a very helpful answer to you.
Kind regards,
John
Hello John,
I have not implemented SNC yet. I have 4 productive SAP NW BI landscapes I no possibility of restarting them, so I have not configured SNC.
I wonder, because I did not configure SNC at our BO 3.1 landscape and the Logon Site to the report does not appear, there seems to be a change between BO 3.1 and 4.0. So I hoped to solve the problem wich chapter 7.4.8 of Admin Guide.
So I will try SNC. Thanks.

>> You are calling OpenDocument which is browser based from the SAP GUI, so the first logon will always be there as the SAP GUI can't give you a real logon token.
2.) How do I prevent the logon Site of OpenDocument?
>> You need to configure the SAP Authentication on the BOE Server and you need to configure OpenDocument to leverage the SAP authentication as the primary authentication in the XML file

Hello,
the problem was solved by SAP Support. I had to configure the OpenDocuments.properties to uses logon token and had to configure SSO at the CMC at the SAP authentication options tab (pkcs12).
SNC was not necessary.
After that SSO between BO and BW worked well at 7 of 8 systems.
Thanks for the help.
