I get exactly the same error message. I have tried downloading with Mutiple O/S and Multipel web browsers. I have also sent a message to SDN but no help so far. It looks like this has happened with previous links as well.

I have tried IE9, IE8, Chrome, Firefox 4, Firefox 3.6. I think I am pretty safe in saying the issue isn't with me. After about 30 attempts I have managed to get the uncomplied version....still can't get the compiled version.

Finally managed to get it to download with IE9. I then tried again 5 minutes later to test and sure enough couldn't download it again. Totally unreliable download page.

but after installing B1DE, i am facing problem, i.e, in VisualStudio 2008, i am not getting installed add-ons in 'New Project' dialog.,
and hence i am not able to create ADDON for SAP B1..
if possible, kindly let me know, where i did mistake...

Please double check the following:
1. During installation you gave the right version for your Visual Studio and also the right folder where your Visual Studio is installed (follow the explanation given during installation on how to specify the path).
2. If the installation path for Visual Studio is correct please check that inside Visual Studio you have some templates for B1 projects, they should be in a folder like VB/VBProjects for the Vb ones inside your Visual Studio folder (in my case for VS2010 I have them at C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VB\VBProjects).
3. If you can see the templates for B1 in the Program files then double check when you try to create a project that the B1 templates are not in a double VB or VC folder.

I have tried the link to the latest B1DE 2.2 setup and it works fine for me, I can download the zip.
Please try again (make sure you are logged in SDN with your user), if it doesn't work please contact sdn support.
Are you able to load other files from SDN?

I have been working with the SDK for a while but I always had the question if it's ok to develop add-ons with another framework other than the 2.0 which is the one the SDK and B1DE is based on?
Since in NET Framework 4.0 we have a wider functionality than the 2.0, I try once but I notice some diferences on functions parameters of the SDK, and diferent definitions in functions.
Does the projects have to be created for 2.0 NET Framework?

When trying to install displays the following error
"The installer has encountered an unexpected erro installing this package.
This may indicade a problem with this package.
The error code is 2869"
I tried to install as an administrator and the same error occurs.
Computer with windows 7 64 bit, Visual Studio 2010
I set up the installer as follows
VS2010
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0
C:\SAP\SAP Business One (my sap instalation)
Install path
C:\SAP\SAP Business One DI API

B1 SDN page have been splitted in 3 pages.
The main page is B1 application and the link is the following:
http://scn.sap.com/community/business-one
From that page in the left side menus you have "Related Resources" pointing to the other 2 pages: one for SDK and one for B1i.
In the page for SDK just follow the explanation here below and you will find B1DE page with all the download links:
http://scn.sap.com/community/business-one-sdk => Left side menus "Key Topics" => SAP Business One SDK Tools => You will have a page with all the tools.

We haven't compiled a new version of B1DE for B1 8.82 version.
Version for B1 8.81 should still work, please try it and let me know.
You can also recompile B1DE by yourself, the source code is available for download in the same page as the setup.

Hi Maria,
Someone needs to look at these downloads. There is obviously an issue with the reliability. You will find there are multiple threads on the SCN with people not being able to access the file. There is no point saying the link works for me so there isn't an issue. Just like the last version I have wasted my time trying to get this to download. Last time I sent an email to sdn@sap.com and got no help whatsoever.

I do have the same problem and I have tried several times. I have also used different browsers and still could not download the file. I am interested in B1DE 2.2 since it supports 8.81 and VS 2010.
I noticed that the license agreement has the following lines
DEVELOPERS NETWORK - SAP 90 DAYS EVALUATION LICENSE AGREEMENT
for USA and Canada
I have sent a mail to sdn@sap.com and I am still waiting for a response.
Is it possible that I can't download it because I am in Africa? Is the non evaluation version for sale? Where can I get it?
