Import failed in Consolidation

Hi NWDI experts,

We are facing an issue where import fails in consolidation

The error log shows the following:

Error : error during loading of propagation request Exc=com.sap.cms.tcs.interfaces.exceptions.TCSFileNotFoundException: archive not found

I have read in other threads where re-doing the check-in and import in dev tab will create the files in the archives folder. I am wondering if there is another way of doing this. Our dev compartment is running fine and we are using this actively, I do not want to import the components again and risk breaking dev. Especially when we have a go-live coming soon. Currently we are using the workaround of deploying into cons portal via NWDS, eventually we would like to move this process to NWDI.

Hi Jason,

"Error : error during loading of propagation request Exc=com.sap.cms.tcs.interfaces.exceptions.TCSFileNotFoundException: archive not found " means that the file is not available in the ..../CMS/archives folder and is due to the missing sca files.

Do check this [link|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a6/a4214174abef23e10000000a155106/content.htm].. Probably you can get the reason for the problem.

Also, this [LINK|http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1882378] is an answered solution by SAP Moderator..

  Thank you for your response. I have tried placing the sca files direclty into the archives folder. I still get the same error
  Based on the error message, its seems like the system is looking for a file with prefix sap.com and not one that ends with the sca extension. Please correct me if I am wrong.
  
  I have also looked at the resolution from the thread you have linked. This resolution, from what I understand requires a check-in and import from development then the archive gets created into proper folder. Based on my initial concerns, we would like to avoid touching the dev compartment for now because of a go-live coming soon.
