great performance improvements with revision 25, but life trickles in...
1. earlier today, the password wouldn't get saved and i was prompted multiple times for the credentials. this problem now seems resolved, so thank you for that.
2. this keeps showing up. i can save an excel file but cannot reopen it with the pivot as this error shows up:

workaround: create brand new excel worksheet and create a new pivot, but any dimension information is lost. it's less of a problem since performance is much better.
if i wanted to blame MSFT i wouldn't know how...
