Hi Experts,
I am working on a printing industry project. Need your help on mapping the below mentioned scenario:
Customer places an order of 5000 copies of stationary (Material - X). This stationary is somewhat special. every printed copy is having a unique number. And the challenge is every copy should be delivered to separate ship-to-party. So there will be 5000 ship-to-party addresses also. There will be only one invoice as Sold-to-party, Payer and Bill-to-party will always be one.
Please suggest a solution. Creating 5000 sales order line items or creating 5000 deliveries can be a solution, but managing these much documents is a mess.
Note: Frequency of such orders is very high. And proper tracking should be there for every delivered copy.
Appreciate your valuable suggestions.
Thanks & Regards,
Vishal

I tried for possibilites with some ideas, but due to closely related to SD - better to post it also in SD forum.
But I believe these below links will definitely help to give some idea about your requirement. Please check the below posts on SDN.

Vishal,
Well, your requirements are a bit vague. However, when you wish to enter a sales order for a single Material, but you have to keep track of every single of the widgets individually, the standard SAP solution is serialization
Concept:

This does not, however, solve the issue of '5000 shiptos'. I have great difficulty understanding this concept in a manufacturing company, it sounds more like a retail environment, or that you are acting as a third-party vendor.
