Ok just in case you missed to read between the lines, Rob meant 'not a good place to learn basic ABAP '.
But in my opinion if someone has decent googling or searching skills, SDN can be used as a great reference even for basic ABAP, as all those basic questions have already been asked and answered over and over again here.

Now I see, upon reading this tread.
That is why most of the question posted were leaving behind with no answers at all.
It also answered my question, why all of my post seems not so interesting, after one reply there goes no more.

hi,
The repeated question can be combined together for the future clarification, but most of them are not seeing the old post whether there is solution where already solved are not.
Dear Moderator,
I have asked the question on Forum and Moderator LOCKED THE QUESTION, by giving a reason-Don't Ask Basic Question.
I have two question:
1. We can keep only 10 questions open in the Forum, and if moderator lock any question. We can not closed it. It means we have lost 1 open question. remaining is 9.
My request is that whenever moderator lock any question, First they should shift them in to unanswered or answered category.
2. OK, If any one ask a question, definitely he has some problem and some time, it looks a basic question for moderators (Because they are expert). If any user asking a question and it seems a basic question than they should redirect that question in proper forum.
I have already requested for the same. But instead of doing that Moderator locked the question.
I request you. please change the category (either answered or unanswered but closed) than lock it. So, I will have my options open to post maximum 10 question as open.
with thanks,
DSC
Hi,
If you have anything to be conveyed to the Mod's, click on the "yellow triangle button"(Click to Report Abuse) in your post and type in your message.

Well, you haven't posted a link to the question, so it's not possible to give a complete answer.
It's not a question of moderators being experts; it's a question of people asking basic questions that are easily searchable. The forum expects that you will do some research before asking a question and try to answer it yourself.
The forums are not a place where people can learn ABAP or get others to do their work for them.
Rob
When you post a question here, it means that you have agreed to abide by the Rules and Regulations of these forums - failing which a Moderator can lock your threads. If you have too many locked threads, that just indicates the number of times you have deliberately broken the Rules. So its kind of a penalty you pay for not sticking to the Rules.
Despite repeated warnings from Moderators and pointing you to the Rules of Engagement you chose to ignore these warnings. Should we notice a change in your posting habits (for the better), we will unlock some of your threads. For now you have to adjust with the one open question limit.
Happy Posting.

Dear Rob,
Here is the link of my post:
http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2148602&tstart=0
Where you can clearly find that I have also made a request if it is not a proper forum than redirect me.
Dear Kishan P,
Yes you are right, If any user is not following the rules he must be liable for penalty. But you should also consider the circumstances.
In my thread I have clearly mentioned that I HAVE SEARCHED ON FORUM, BUT FAILED TO FIND THE ANSER. Thats the reason I posted the thread.
Second, I also requested if this is not right forum than please redirect me.
Third, I have pasted my codes also in the thread. By which you can identify that I am working on it, have problem and need help. it is not a imaginary thing and not asking for complete codes.
Once again, I want to tell you some thing. A question may be basic for you. But for some one it may be big and may stop his work. This is the reason we come on the forum, and it is the purpose of the forum.
With thanks,
DSC
Well, you've been "new" at ABAP for almost a year now; you've asked more than 80 questions; accumulated 0 points and are looking for an "early response".
Rob
Dear Rob,
Yes it is true that with this Id we have asked around 80 questions in last one year. But is is also true that I am new for ABAP.
What are the questions I have asked all are not related to ABAP. Basically this is the Id, which is used by a group.
If it is anything wrong in it. please tell me.
I don't have any problem: If this Id is not available for any more post than I can create another ID with different mail ID. BUT, I don't want to do it. Because, THIS IS THE QUESTION OF PRINCIPAL and I AM NOT LYING.
With thanks,
DSC.
