There are 3 different possibilities:
1) Importing journal entries from a file (new functionality in the version 7.5)
2) Copying and pasting journal entries: copy and paste one or more journal entries from the Desktop to one or several ledgers.
3) Creating manual journal entry templates: use manual journal entry templates to create manual journal entries that contain certain pre-defined properties.
For more details, please consult the SAP Note 1377313.
Thank you very much for you fast and useful help.
One possible solution is to use copy/paste funcionality since our BOFC version is 7.0.
Even so, do you know if it's possible to do get the same result by running a preconsolidation rule (using a task) every month ?
I don't think that preconsolidation rules will give you the same result. Indeed, it's not recommended to make such transfer by preconsolidation rule (even via SQL).
Please note that these rules can not cover all data. For example, preconsolidation task does not take into account manual journal entries with restrictions on variant or scope. In this case, the amount is not selected (SAP Note 1220948).
However, you can contact the Custom Solution Department to implement the add-in ("JE Loader"). This add-in will enable you to import Manual Journal Entries from excel .
Emna, specify please what is "JE Loader add-in for Excel"? If i right understand, this is not the same as the general FC's add-in for Excel? Is it available for free for customers, who have already used FC and has a licence?
I have some experience using Excel add-in for FC 7.5 for static and pivot reports creating, but there wasn't any functionality for MJE import. Also, maybe i'm wrong, but it is no any mentions about " JE Loader for Excel" in SAP official guides.
