Integrate SAP BI 7.3 (Portal) into NW Enterprise Portal 7.02 via FPN?

Hi all,

We are currently planning to upgrade our SAP systems (currently we are at 7.01 for all NW) and the decision was made to go for BI 7.3 but for our Main Portal just to 7.02.

Now our setup is that we have two instances of BI, ABAP and Java as separate systems, and the Main Portal gets the content from the BI Java (Portal) via FPN.

Does anyone have experience with this setup and can maybe confirm that it will still work once we upgrade? In our case this would mean that our Main Portal on 7.02 will be the consumer and the BI Portal 7.3 will be the producer.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I have also already browsed this forums and found a topic that was close to this subject ([SDN Post|http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?messageID=10837649#10837649]) but unfortunately the included information was not sufficient to see it as confirmed.
