Not that I'm particularly bothered about collecting points, but I've posted two blogs since the new SCN and haven't had points for either. Is there a bug with this?
Thanks,
Steve.
The new SCN gives 10 points when you post a blog post. And rest points are provided by community by social options like LIKE ![]()
Find the details about the Reputation Program via http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-18427
And it is those 10 points I don't appear to have received...
Hmm
Then I'm leaving this to SCN Team ![]()
Hi Steve,
I don't think you get the points if you create the blog in your personal space. I think you still don't get them even if you move it to a public space later. Is it possible that this is what happened?
Ethan
Hi,
I can confirm that blog posts originally drafted in your personal content area won't get points assigned when getting moved or published in a topic space. This is by design to encourage everybody to post their blogs in the proper spaces.
Oliver
OK, thanks Oliver. I'm not sure I've read that anywhere. It might head off a few more questions if the points policy made this clearer. As I said, I'm not particularly bothered, but I'm sure some people take the points system a little more seriously ![]()
Steve.
Hello Ethan,
Earlier there used to be a page which displayed "Top Contributing company" and "Top Contributor within a company" and also topic leaders. Where is that page now? is it deleted?
Regards,
Krishna
Hi Krishna,
It doesn't exist anymore, I believe, but maybe you'll find the approach in this discussion helpful: http://scn.sap.com/thread/3146633
Cheers,
Ethan
