Biu's not triggered.

Hi,
I have a biu that writes data to an external database after a successful draft is saved.

lately it stopped working.

I have started looking for the problem and found out that I see no success messages in the B1 Event Monitor.

the service is started on windows. and in the even sender setup it is configured to receive all objects .

if I leave the event monitor on I see no success messages after a long while and also , on the filter option I can see some records , but none has a draft object id, (almost all of it is object 31).

i tried creating a new biu with sender 8.8 with the original 8.8 DFT object 112 ?

and a sender to the database. still I see no action triggered in the message log.

Any help would be much appreciated .

What version B1 are you running?

Are there messages in the SEVT table in SBO Common?

  for some reason it just got back working after the weekend.
  without any action on my end.
  this is really troubling .

    Was the server restarted over the weekend? Another good source for infomation is the Event Viewer to find any errors with the system.

      I've looked through the event log.
      can you guide which event I'm supposed to be looking for ?
      I have some SAP DI telling me the service was restarted and it has done so xx times .
      other than that I don't see much that has to do with the sap system.
      also, after investigating it some more. it appears that sometimes it's not really not working only theres a long delay , e.g. a draft was created and then instead of the biu being triggered instantly it takes some time (sometimes i think hours ) but upon looking at the monitor log the time column has the original "trigger" hour.
