Need to add iview containing website link on top of masthead location

Hi,

I need to add iview containing website link on top of masthead location in Ajax frame work page in 7.3.

For this i created a ivew and added it to masthead container in framework page and moved it to top place.

But when preview the framework that iview is not showing in masthead container and its showing at the bottom of the page.

Pease let me know how to display the iview at the top of framework page.

HI Suswaram,
Please refer the following document.

The document gives you an overview how to change look and feel of netweaver of portal. e.g adding footer on portal. This document can be helpful in achieving your implementation.

have you checked the Fixed check box of the Masthead iview.

Hi All,

Thanks all for your inputs, to meet my requirement I created a new masthead application in NWDS and deployed into the server. Created the IView with this deployed application and assigned to framework page instead of standard Masthead IView. In the application it self I created the link to website link.

  How did you create the iview from the deployed application? I am unable to the copy the deployed application as a pcd object, rather I can only copy the individual iviews in it viz. Header, Logoff etc as pcd objects.
  
  Can you please explain how did you create the iview from custom classic masthead application?

    Can any one please let me know how can I add links in footer of portal 7.3. I have created some links which are available in masthead but I need to add those in footer of page. I have added the respective iView to the AFP with container masthead but I dont see any container for footer.
