Is it you are trying to conenct to your local hana Database installation with CRM which is also installed at local? It is trying to reach CRM database and it is not able to reach. I wonder why there is no "Time out" error for this?

Actually I was trying to connect from CRM to HANA and create tables in HANA from CRM ABAP code.both are on different servers.I don't know the reason ,why it got stuck at that time , but when I tried later I was able to successfully create tables and insert records in HANA tables from CRM.But I am still curious why it got stuck before.:)

That was really cool. Can you Document your work on CRM and HANA and share it to SCN. I am eager to watch one of those kind 
Interesting that it got stuck. Eventually it should have timed out. Without an error or a log entry it is difficult to say what was happening. Perhaps an incorrect port definition in DBCON would cause a long delay while trying to connect but would eventually time out and produce an error.

Actually I am planning to write on integration of HANA with different tools like SUP,CRM and Bas there are sevarl approaches for connecting HANA and SUP ,we were able to connect HANA and SUP via JDBC drivers ,now we are exploring the possibility of connecting HANA and SUP via Gateway using oData channel.Once we are done with I would submit a blog on connecting HANA and mobility apps.

Sorry for delayed reply , I have installed both SUP server and client on my laptop and HANA is there in different server , I don't think it is available in SMP , if you have the SUP software I can guide you on installing it , you better go for SUP 2.1.2 if poosible , as it has more possibilities like supporting android devices and oData SDK etc...
Yes once I am done with the connection I would document different scenarios,I would prepeare so that people like me can follow, if people like me can then it is a cake walk for you.

Software Downloads ->Installations and Upgrades -> Browse our Download Catalog -> Sybase Poducts
my SUSERID don't have access to download , my Basis team helped me to get the software.Let me know if you need any further information
