Problems in installing BI content.

Hi,

I am learning Business warehouse and I am facing difficulties while practising. Here they are listed:

In LO extractions or FI extractions, I am able to make all the settings in the R/3 systems and everything is fine but I am unable to know the targets(names of infocubes or dso ) in Business content. Hence unable to install the respective objects. Plz let me know where and how can I find the related targets for particular data sources.

Am unable to define constants (v3 or k3 or k6) for fiscal variants and hence finding it difficult to use them while partitioning. Am able to partition based on calmonth though.

These two as of now.....Any help is greatly appreciated.

I heard that we have help documentation for finding the related targets for data sources. Plz provide me if it really exists. I tried searching on internet but cudnt find it.

Hi

Take the help of help.sap.com u can get the related datasource target or
In the RSA1---->BUSINESS CONTENT--->SELECT THE RESPECTIVE DATASOURCE AND SELECT THE OPTION AS " IN DATAFLOW AFTERWARDS". So here after installing u will get the datasource with their respective data target and queries.

    !. Go to RSA1
    2. Select your data source
    3. click data flow and then select option "upwards"
    
    All the targets corresponding to your datasource will be displayed there.
    
    In SAP.Help.com if you give the data source all the details of that data source will be displayed.

      Thanks for ur response. But I want to install the related components for the respective datasource. For example datasource 2lis_11_vahdr is sales document header level datasource which is available in R/3 system. Now when I replicate SD application component, the above ds will form replica in BI. After this, I want to install and activate the data target( in this example its infocube named 0SD_C03) from BI content and also install all the related components like transformations, ips, dtp etc... As I knew the related data target for 2LIS_11_VAHDR is 0SD_C03, I searched the infocube in BI content and installed. But I am unable to find targets for other LO data sources. Also, 2LIS_11_VAHDR is not available to search in business content datasources.
      
      Plz help me with suitable solution

        If you select the Data Flow Afterwards option it will collect all the objects for which the data is flowing through Datasource.
        
        DSo's, Cubes, Standard reports delivered on these.... everything get collected.
        
        There you can find the targets.
