Hi guys,
when I'm not browsing the Activity Feed - which is usual my start into a new day at SCN - I need to go to one of my places. Yes, I had already blogged on how to set that as my bookmarked start page, but I have since then switched to the activity view.
Would it be possible to have a dropdown of places on the right side of the header bar? Or is there an easier way to get to my places other than going via my profile?
Frank.
Hi Frank,
unfortunately there is no option yet. The best way from my experience is to bookmark the link to the places you are following: http://scn.sap.com/places?filterID=following
Best,
Oliver
Yours is a nice idea but might start to break down if your following 20 places.
Oliver's suggestion is right except that these wouldn't be 'bookmarks': going to http://scn.sap.com/places and then selecting 'following' on the left filters the places for those that you are following. Note that you can also set this filter as the default by clicking the push pin. I've got a document about quick links like these and how to customize them: Everything I know about... SCN Quick Links and Browsing Tips
My solution was to create a personal homepage via a document: Personalization of SCN Content: Setting Up a Personal Homepage
Cheers,
Jason
