Hi,
during the installation of the Business Package JSPM threw an error.
The content was installed but the included services of the business package were not deployed.
Next week i will try it again with NWDS Deployment.
I will update this thread next week.
I think the main problem is that perhaps classes are used that are no longer available in 7.3... but i don´t really know at the moment.

I experienced the same thing. JSPM threw the error. I went through NWDS and tried redeploying the BP and it failed. You might be right about classes. I opened up a OSS note to ask SAP if this compatible anymore. Will let you know.

Alex, SAP is still working on this. I was able to start the CRM DAM core services but it is still not working

We are also facing same issue : Installing BP CRM 5.0 with EP 7.31.
Error we have :
Hereafter you will find summarised what we tried (without success) :
We raised an OSS Note asking for BP CRM 5.0 compatibility with EP 7.31. SAP answer is : no compatibility.
We do not understand why and are looking for a document where it is clearly indicated.

We have upgraded our Portal to EP 7.31 SPS4 over the past week-end, and were still using CRM 5.0 Iviews before theupgrade.
Unfortunatly, we did not check the compatibility in DEV and QAS, and now that we have upgraded we are facing the same error messages :
Caused by: com.sapportals.portal.prt.runtime.PortalRuntimeException: Exception
in SAP Application Integrator occured: Unable to parse template
'<PSID.CRMUnique>'; the problem occured at position 0. Cannot process
expression <PSID.CRMUnique> because Cannot retrieve CRMUnique from

Hello all. We have not yet upgraded to Netweaver 7.3 in production but in the meantime we have stopped using the application which uses this CRM business package. We knew our business was changing there application so we held off on our upgrades. Below is SAP's response.
"Is CRM Business Package 5.0.0 SP2 compatible with Netweaver 7.3 Portal?Are
there any steps to get this to work?"
based on the question that were raised previously we were able to identify that with the current CRM package (5.0 SP2) installed on your systems,compatiblity with Netweaver 7.3 Portal is not possible and hencewe are landing into this issue.Presently there are no workarounds to make Netweaver work with the current CRM set up, only way to achieve compatiblity would be to upgrade to CRM 7.0 or higher.
