In COOIS confirmation option after executing the report, you can choose posting date field in the layout.
If this field is not in display, then you choose this from layout and display.
After that put filter on the date you are looking, and get the report as you needed.
Posting dtae is not in selection list, but after executing report you can put filter as explained above.

Do as Sharat has suggested or else use table-AFRU to see confirmation details on a particular Posting Date.

Hi Sandip,
Check the confirmations using standard order information system, you have many option of maintaining dates (absolute and relative dates at the bottom of screen). You can give any valid date range(for absolute dates) and any valid days range (for relative dates) to get your confirmation reports. Also as suggested, in the report it self you can change the layout and include the respective posting date.
If the date/days range is given, it is more likey that you get posting dates which you want to check.

Thanks for your quick response.
All the suggestions were given to the client but they want a report where in the selection criteria itself option of posting date is available since the number of confirmations are very large system takes too much time to read the data and then dispay it. With absolute date and relative date also the results will not be accurate, since they are not same as posting date.
Pl. advise on generating a confirmation report based exactly on posting date.

Hi Sandip,
Create a query using tables AFRU, MSEG and MKPF. You can achieve this by adding postin date as selection option.
Create a custom transaction for the query and give it to your client. If you do not know how to do it, check with your ABAP to create a query.
Or refer document in the forum.
Your requirement will be easily met. If all suggestions above fulfill the need but not acceptable to your client, then also you can appreciate the replies.
