I will give some more detailed information on the Sybase ASE Testdrive in the next weeks. For now only a short introduction:
The Testdrive is a virtual machine that contains an SAP system running on Sybase ASE 15.7. It's preconfigured so that e.g. the DBA Cockpit can be used directly. The idea is that you can use this testdrive to get in touch with ASE without the need to install a complete system and set up everything youself. So if you're interested in SAP on Sybase ASE this is the easiest way to start. I run it on my laptop for demos and to have a system available for tests.
