shared memory segment cannot be allocated --> error in OS sun solaris and DB db2

Hi all,

    I am facing the mentioned error after kernel upgrade.

    1. first we have done with kernel upgrade

    2. when we are trying to startdb2 (db2start). it is showing the above mentioned error along with

              a, R3 trans failed

              b. Active database failed.

  Please suggest some solution for the error.
