Hi all, I hope I have a easy one for you today. I am in process to upgrade my current SCM landscape 5.10 to the newest release of SCM 7 ehp2 and the SCM guy in my company raise a question about the comptability of this version with our current ERP landscape at the version EHP5.
He went over the spro => Integration With Other mySAP.com COmponents => Basis Settings => Sepcify SAP APO Release and the APO release 702 is not showing up but the version 701 (release 7.0 EHP 1) is available.
For me it's a question of SAP Notes installations to add this entry but I would like to validate with you guys if we need to install EHP6 to connect to the latest version of SCM 7 EHP2 or should I go with SCM EHP 1 ?
Thanks for help
Hi Marc,
basis-wide, there's no problem. Your systems will communicate and work 100% properly.
However you should check with the Application side - perhaps post this question on the SCM forums? There might be some details or particulars related to the application that are out of our (Basis) scope.
Best regards,
Tomas Black
Hi Thomas, thanks for the reply, I already tried to post my message on the SCM forum but no answer ...
I agree with you 100% about the Basis side. We raise a OSS message with the question for the SCM connectivity and I will keep you inform. Meanwhile, if somebody have a clue, I am fully open. My migration is on ice waiting for an answer and I dont like that ![]()

Hi Marc,
I have the very same question, but the note number seems to be incorrect. Might be a typo. What was the outcome?
Many thanks
