Hello Mods,
I found a instance of a thread where the poster got full points after modifyng his solution based on another post.
Newer version of "points-gaming" i must say !!!

Any Examples of your saying would be highly appreciable.
And I donu2019t see reply with modifying their own solution from previous thread is any violation of rules!
Sometimes (Even Many times) modify in your own reply is must in case of below kind of threads:

Ssshhhhhh. Today is really peaceful in ABAP forums..
Hello Mods,
I will like to bring to your notice about a user who gets a 10-pointer for answer a post & the very next day asks the same question himself.

Please look into this.
Hmm... the plot thickens... ![]()
Perhaps Bathrinath took a bit of a guess at the answer the day before and was lucky, so then tried it himself for real and ran into a problem?
Anyway, I will keep an eye on it. Thanks for observing!
Cheers,
Julius
Hello Mods,
I feel this posting of "redundant answers" should really be stopped. Can you please look into this matter or add this to "Forum Rules".
Here's an [example|https://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1286647&tstart=0].
Any ideas will be appreciated.
BR,
Suhas
The best solution is simply not to respond to basic questions.
Rob
Hello Rob,
That's fine Rob. But its OK is someone has responded. I really donot get the idea of repeating the same answers in the same post.
Anyways its definitiely encouraged to "Search" in SDN prior to asking.
Hope i am talking sense.
BR,
Suhas
True, but if you look at the thread in question, all of the responses came within a few minutes of it being asked. In this case, it may have been a case of responders opening the question and while some were typing the answers, others opened the question while it was still unanswered.
But, it's usually the basic questions that get the most redundant answers. So...
Rob
Hi Rob,
I have posted the thread by not expecting that others will do my work but atleast I will get some suggestions on how to do it or how to go about.
I also wanted to add that not to lock the thread. But its just skipped from my mind. Anyways possible please unlock the thread once, so that I can modify my question.
Thanks & Regards
Mythili
It would be better if you put some thought into your problem, changed the code as best you can and then get back to the forum if you have specific questions.
We are glad to help, but you have to take the first steps yourself.
Rob
Hi Rob,
I have already tried and worked a lot on it, still with no proper output. Then I decided to post it, but I didn't want to mess up with my code, that is the reason. I just kept the things fully, so that it could be clear. Anyways can you please unlock it, so that I have a very specific area to ask in the report that is displaying the report based on sales group and customer group.
I request you to unlock , so that I would modify and will keep the program which I tried and worked on.
I would really appreciate your help.
Thanks & Regards
Mythili
I'll unlock it, but please ask a specific question about a specific portion of code.
Rob
Hi Rob,
I have given link for the program, Hope that is within the Rules of Engagement.
Because as the code is big and, I could not accommodate the complete code, I put the link to download code. Even in code, I put the same requriement as I posted in the thread.
Thank you very much Rob.
Mythili
