All,
I have BOBJ install with the SAP kit, I have also setup SNC between the bobj server and BW.
I have created an hyperlink in infoview pointing on a BEX Query ..
everything is fine, i can without any issue open my BEX query thru the infoview..
the issue is that i am getting prompted by a user/password from BW .. even if i am login in infoview using my SAP credential.
is there a way to get direct SSO from infoview BW query thru the web without getting prompted for login password ?
I thought SNC would create a trust between the BOBJ and BW
is that a wrong assumption ?
let me know
thank you
Philippe
Do you have an SAP enterprise portal installation?

No I do not ... but as i was wondeirng if you get trust between the 2 machines bobj and BW .. why should this not work ?

>> and that makes perfect sense because the BEx web application is expecting an SAP SSO Token and not a BusinessObjects token. BusinessObjects Enterprise is not generating a SSO token for SAP and the configured SNC part does not solve that problem.

Thank you .
so in short, what would really work is if i have the SAP portal ? i can only go from the portal to the web version of the query ?
Philippe
If you get an SAP Enterprise Portal then this is a feasible SSO navigation path:
SAP Portal -> BO Report -> Web BEx query

Hi,
We have the following products installed and working:
SAP EP 7.0
SAP BW (NetWeaver) 7.0
SAP BOE XI R3.1 SP3
We have configured SSO between:
1) BO & BW:
Mapped SAP Roles in CMC and made necessary changes in InfoViewApp 'web.xml' file as follows:
a) SAP SSO = true, b) SITEMINDER SSO = false, c) Default Authentication = 'SecSAPR3'
Can logon to InfoView with SAP Roles / Usernames with SAP Authentication and view the report from InfoView.
2) EP & BW (using SAP LOGONTICKET):
Have downloaded certificate from EP and uploaded it in the BW system.
Can logon to EP and execute transactions without providing username / password for BW.
When I view the BEx query based report from Infoview it is working fine.
We have created a link for the same report in EP using BO iView template.
After logging in to EP, when I open the link to the BEx based BO report, I am propmpted for a username and password.
Once the username password is provided, I am able to view the dashboard / report, however; this means that SSO is working.
Please let me know how we can get over this situation.
Thanks in anticipation!!!

Hi,
I am having the same issue as described above and we have SAP EP Deployed. Is there some trust/certificate file that needs to be generated or any changes to be done between BI and EP?
