From my customer contacts,  I received feedback that there are some applications were the actual design concept implemented in a CRM system does not perfectly fit. I would like to give you a hint of enhancement possbilities of modification free configuration of the UI to fit your needs.

As example, I chosed the resource planning applicaction. A couple of users told be that it would be cool to have the application not show as a long paper, but see  planned jobs close to the planning board.

The solution here is very easy.

1. First of all you need to enable this application for tile set configurations. This is a simple customizing entry, which can be found at the following path:

Transaction "SPRO". Go to Customer Relationship Management - UI Framework - Register Overview Pages for Tile Layout

Add the following key there.

By the way, this approach is available to all pages in the CRM system. So in every case were your business has the need of a tile set UI, just register this application and contunue with the following steps.

2. Enable the UI configuration. This can be done in the UI itself. Click on personalization. On this screen chose Personalize Settings. On that pop up check last flag - Enable Configuration Mode. Ensure you have the proper rights and you are allowed to create or use transport requests.

3. Navigate to the application you want to configure. At the upper right corner the configuration icon is shown. Click it and change the appearance to "Tile Set".

Now you can arrange the UI via drag and drop. Move the different assignment blocks to the tile you want to see them. Below you see the example I did.

If you move more then one assignment block to one tile. It will be shown as tabstrip.

4. Save you configuration and check the result.
