The people behind more than 1.4 million hits cannot make a mistake - ASAP 7.1 and ASAP Business Add-ons implementation content are now a reality.
In February of this year 2010 SAP released the new version of the ASAP Methodology for Implementation, which already have been viewed more than 1.4 million times, and introduced the concept of ASAP Business Add-ons which enable the SAP community to implement SAP solutions in more cost efficient and accelerated way.
The first ASAP Business Add-ons are now released and can be viewed and downloaded from SAP Service Marketplace. The ASAP Business Add-ons can also be activated and deployed in SAP Solution Manager with the release of ST-ICO SP25 content update - middle of July, where they are delivered via a roadmap and template project and in SAP Enterprise Modeling by IDS Scheer where they are available as a database.
The ASAP Business add-ons extend the ASAP methodology with modular business implementation content and additional methodology and governance frameworks.
The ASAP Business Add-ons provide proven implementation content for implementation of various industry solutions, solutions packages, and other related areas such as Agile Methodology, BPM, SOA, MDM and EA Governance and Strategy Frameworks. The ASAP Business Add-on concept is the gateway to executing process based and easier to consume solutions.
The ASAP Business Add-on delivers:
- Additional flavor methodology, governance content, templates, samples and accelerators extending standard ASAP Methodology for Implementation 7 content
- Solution or industry specific business content: Business process structure, transactions, solution documentation, links to IMG objects, BC sets, enhancements, SOA services, composite applications, test cases, training material, etc.
- Relevant SAP services and training offerings
This year a number of ASAP Business Add-ons will be launched across various industries, solutions and other related areas such as methodology and governance frameworks.
