One of the strengths of the SAP Ecosystem, and indeed, SCN, is the extensive knowledge and experience within the community. There are literally thousands of skilled consultants spread across the world who have specialized and detailed knowledge of SAP's business systems.  There are also many customers and partners who have first hand experience of driving business process improvements on the back of SAP system implementations.

But how can we maximize this knowledge and experience for the greater benefit of the SAP ecosystem?

Certainly SCN goes some way towards doing this - as does SAP Education. But in my view, the real challenge and the opportunity for Learning on Demand by SAP is how we best facilitate the mapping of knowledge from those who have it to those who need it. While we are at the early stages of our journey with LoD, currently providing hundreds of eLearning titles from the vaults of SAP Education, we are really just scratching the surface.

I'd like to ask - when it comes to learning - are "WE (as in the Ecosystem community) smarter than me"?  Is there a role that you would or could play in the creation and provision of learning content?

While we have already commenced discussions with a few partners around the creation of content for LoD, we would also like to understand what content you need, what you'd like to see - and importantly, what content would you be able and interested to provide?

If learning is sharing, then LoD should be a platform not just for SAP provided content, but for any experienced practitioner, partner or customer across the ecosystem to share their knowledge and experiences through the provision of their content!
