Short Bio: Ingo Hilgefort started with Crystal Decisions in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1999 as a trainer and consultant for Crystal Reports and Crystal Enterprise.
In 2001, he became the program manager of a small team working in Walldorf
at SAP’s headquarters for Crystal Decisions. During this time, Ingo worked closely with the SAP BW development group and helped to design and shape the first integration
of Crystal Reports with SAP BW, which then became an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) relationship between SAP and Crystal Decisions.
With the acquisition of Crystal Decisions by BusinessObjects, he then moved into product management for the integration between BusinessObjects and SAP.
In addition to his experience in product management and engineering, Ingo has
been involved in building and delivering BusinessObjects BI with SAP software for
a number of worldwide customers. He has also been recognized by the SDN and
BusinessObjects communities as an SDN Mentor for BusinessObjects and SAP
integration-related topics.
Recently, Ingo has been working on BI end-to-end solution architecture, focusing on the SAP BusinessObjects BI portfolio and helping customers and partners successfully deploy this as part of their overall SAP landscape.

He is also the author of several additional SAP PRESS books: Reporting and Analytics
with SAP BusinessObjects,
Inside SAP BusinessObjects
Explorer, and Inside SAP BusinessObjects
