In the 4 hour hands-on session BI161 – Tue, Sep 13 and Thu, Sep 15 - 2:15pm - 6:15pm - “An Introduction to SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation 10.0” will walk you thru key features of BPC 10.0 NW including:

- Dashboards on BPC data
- drill-thru functionality
- book publishing
- web reporting
- new EPM 10 client
- Business Process flows
- consolidation monitor
Here are some screenshots to give you a preview of the new web and EPM 10 Excel client, the BPC 10.0 NW Web administation client and the journal interface. Just some of the features, you will be touching in session BI161.
BPC 10.0 Web Client for reporting and data entry - as well as graphical reporting.
New EPM10 Excel Client for data entry and reporting. Easy to use drag-and-drop report building.
The new Web administration client makes it easy for a business user to own and administer the BPC 10.0 NW system - without heavy reliance on IT.
The new web interface for journal entries combines all the required settings in one place.
Then, if you want to dive deeper into the new consolidation features of BPC 10.0 NW make sure to attend BI266 “Consolidation with SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation 10.0” (4 hour hands-on – Wed, Sep 14 and Fri, Sep 16 - 10:30am - 12:30pm).
We will walk thru a business case incorporating practical examples for hands-on experience of the new ownership manager, consolidation monitor, controls and new advanced journal features - all part of "Consolidation Central"
Consolidation Central is introduced in BPC 10.0 NW to bring together all consolidation related features in one place.
The new Onwership Manager replaces the old Dynamic Hierarchy Editor - making it much easer to maintain your consolidation scope and methods.
The Consolidation Monitor allows you to run controls, currency conversion, consolidation of investments and set works status - all from once central location.
In addition to BI161 and BI266, Bryan Katis, GM of EPM solutions, will host a EPM roadmap session (BI200) touching on the Integrated Business Planning vision as well as on the role of SAP HANA in-memory technology in the EPM space.
The last mile of finance – publishing your consolidated results and ensuring SEC compliant XBRL tagging - is covered in BI264.
For those interested in leveraging the SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.0 tools on top of the EPM 10 suite, we recommend joining session BI263.
