I thought I had written about the Americas SAP Users Group (ASUG) annual Developers Tools Day more recently, but the most recent time I can find an article on SCN is from 2008:

Developers Tools Day - Last Call for a free event

Developers Tools Day (Second Annual) - recap

This year marks the fifth annual (and now I can confirm that, since I called the 2008 event the second annual time that Thomas Jung, Peter McNulty, ASUG Chapter volunteers and ASUG SIG volunteers have organized a free event in the Cincinnati Ohio/Kentucky US area. It started out as a joint meeting among several ASUG chapters, so it wasn't called a Chapter meeting. It began before "SAP Inside Track" events were created, and we don't call it that either.

I'm rather tardy getting this announcement out, not to mention this blog may only be visible for a day or two before SCN goes away temporarily for a face list, organ transplant and much needed rest and relaxation, not to mention that registration closes on Tuesday December 6, 2011. And it's limited to ASUG members, which if you're in the area and run SAP, you should be anyway.

Go to the ASUG site, log in as a member (you are a member right?) and find this calendar page:

2011 ASUG Developer Tools Day

I won't repeat the details of the scheduled tracks, but give the highlights here:

  • ABAP Track
    Led by Thomas Jung, SAP
  • Development Tools to Extend the SAP Business Suite Track
    Led by Peter McNulty, SAP
  • BI/SAP Netweaver BW/EIM Track
Led by Storm Archer & Blair Wheadon, SAP

Hope to see you there (though it's too long of a drive for me)!
