Here in Palo Alto California, I often hear that SDN and BPX are community-driven and that the proper role for our SDN and BPX teams is to enable the communities to do their thing. We’re not driving the trains. We’re the crew that oil the wheels and straighten the tracks. To help us keep the machine tuned and moving, each year, in January and July, we run the SDN/BPX Satisfaction Survey. The surveys are important to us, and we put a lot of effort in analyzing the results and discussing how we can make improvements.

We’re currently in the middle of the July 2007 survey and so far, we haven’t gotten as much feedback as we would like. And the survey runs only until the end of next week. Please help us out, take the time to complete the survey, and give us your honest opinions. If you’re an SDN or BPX member and you give us your survey feedback by Friday, 6 August, we’ve got some goodies for you:

Points
Every member who completes the survey receives 20 SDN/BPX points for his or her contribution. That’s pretty good. But there’s still more …

Prizes
Whoever completes the survey is eligible for a contest drawing with some pretty awesome prizes.

  •  Grand Prize: Free pass to SAP TechEd ‘07
If you are the lucky Grand Prize winner, you get a free pass to the SAP TechEd’07 conference of your choice: Las Vegas, Munich, Shanghai, or Bangalore. It’s a great value and opportunity for you to network and to learn and to be part of these focused community mega-events. (You will have to pay for your own transportation to the conference and for lodging and other travel expenses.)
  • Runner-up Prizes: Ultra-cool T-Shirts
If you are one of 20 runner-up winners, we’ll send you a cool t-shirt. You can wear it to the office, around town, or on the street, and impress both friends and strangers that you are connected to the most important technical and business communities on the face of the earth!

Please take the time to complete the survey and make your voice heard.
