I can’t wait to experience my first SAP Inside Track and meet with some of the Community Members in person. This will be a great opportunity to connect, exchange updates and attend some of the technical sessions that the community is offering.

Session 1: Experience Oriented Architecture
Speaker: Matthias Zeller and Steven Webster, Adobe
Description: Steven Webster and Matthias Zeller will demonstrate how to create innovative and intuitive user-experiences upon existing SAP solutions by leveraging Adobe technologies including Flex and LiveCycle. Project Hendrix is an internal application to Adobe, developed to empower agents in contact centers around the world to help more customers, first time, in less time, every time. Built atop an existing investment in SAP CRM, the innovations in user-experience provide an interface that allows agents to focus on performing their tasks simply, easily and effectively, hiding from them the complexities of numerous underlying enterprise systems. This presentation will introduce the concept of "Experience Oriented Architectures" as a design and development approach to fusing Rich Internet Applications and Service Oriented Architecture. SAP development has never looked better.
Session 2: Meeting Business Expectations in BI
Speaker: Hari Guleria, HCL-AXON
Description: According to Gartner, 1,527 CIO's reported that a major concern with BI implementation is lack of meeting business expectations. This session will deal with 'Key Success Factors' that define success in BI implementations. It highlights why BI moved from a 4 year #1 position to #5 in the 2010 Gartner findings.
Session 3: Enterprise Compensation Management
Speaker: Tom Nguyen, Independent
Description: SAP delivers ECM with a planning process (Java, FPM) and planning overview process (EhP4, ABAP WebDynpro). In the planning process, managers select employees at the selection screen, and goes to the planning screen. In this session, Tom Nguyen will show you how to combine the planning and planning overview process seamlessly. A manager would then be able to select his/her lower level managers for review or revision, and he/she could launch his/her own planning for the team in one org structure view. This enhancement utilizes the following technologies: WD Java, WD ABAP, Launchpad, ABAP implicit enhancement, cloning iViews for different actions/parameters, and WD personalization.

Session 1: FPM in Web Dynpro ABAP
Speaker: Harald Reiter, SSIP
Description: In this session, we will dissect a real productive application that is based on Web Dynpro ABAP and utilizes Floorplan Manager components. We will discuss the pros and cons of using Floorplan Manager for this application as well as using Web Dynpro ABAP vs Web Dynpro Java. We will also see how the application uses metadata configured in backend configuration tables to dynamically generate the UI and provide personalized UI and data to the user community. We will then take a quick look at how we integrated PDF print forms technology to provide a PDF output of the screen.
Session 2: Leveraging Analysis Authorizations to build a scalable BW security Model
Speaker: Gokul Muthuswamy, Smart Modular Technologies
Description: Gokul Muthuswamy will discuss how to build a scalable BW security Model.
Session 3: Sustainability, SAP, and the SAP Community Network
Speaker: Jeremiah Stone, SAP
Description: Jeremiah Stone will lead an open discussion with the Community to discuss how SAP and the Community can collaborate to drive sustainability. Sustainability being a relatively recent initiative at SAP, this session will be a great opportunity to listen to the Community’s feedback and provide SAP updates on our product portfolio.

Session 1: New Mobility Models, Convergence and Augmented Reality on Mobile Devices

Description: This session will dive into the latest developments in the enterprise mobility industry and explore their business implications.
Session 2: SAP runs SAP
Speaker: Martin Lang, SAP
Description: Obviously SAP runs SAP. In this session Martin Lang will take an inside look into how SAP implements SAP products. We will review internal system floorplans, landscape strategies, transport and delivery concepts, and more. Expect an interesting discussion where you will compare notes and discuss best or common practices, advantages/disadvantages of certain strategies etc.
Session 3: SAP InfoCube Optimization
Speaker: Hari Guleria, HCL-AXON
Description: The BW InfoCube is the 'center of the Universe' in SAP BW. This session will introduce a new understanding in modeling, and remodeling infocubes and lays bare the essentials for modeling InfoCubes for BW, BW Accelerator and BO Explorer. It will also introduce automated modeling that reduces time and cost and enhances quality. Actual business cases will be provided.

Session 1: Enterprise Portal 2.0
Speaker: Harald Reiter, SSIP
Description: This session takes a brief look at the history of enterprise portals and where we are heading (especially with upcoming release of NW 7.3). The main focus of the session is how a tagging framework implemented in NetWeaver Portal can provide personalized and contextual content as well as navigation to users. We will look at the building blocks of the tagging framework and how it can be applied to PCD as well as KMC/WPC content. In addition we will see how custom tools help business users with the setup of such content and the auditing of it. Last we also take a look at an application that is integrated with the tagging framework and allows users to change certain content/navigation based on user attributes. If time permits we can also have a look at the use of jQuery to provide ‘sexy’ Web 2.0 features inside NetWeaver Portal.
Session 2: Consumption Strategy
Speaker: Kaj van de Loo and Team, SAP
Description: SAP is committed to helping our customers get more value out of their SAP systems. In this session, Kaj van de Loo, SVP Technology Strategy, will give an overview of SAP's consumption strategy. SAP's goal is to reach 1,000,000,000 people within a few years. How will you benefit from it? Can you contribute to it?
Session 3: Behind the Scenes of Best-Built Applications Guidelines
Speaker: Joerg Nalik, SAP
Description: SAP is a jungle and SAP’s partners need a tour guide to navigate through it. The Best-Built Applications Guidelines (BBA) book is such a tour guide for ISVs who want to join and prosper in the SAP Ecosystem. Whenever guidelines are developed, contradictions of many kinds surface and need to be considered. Besides giving an introduction to BBA Joerg Nalik will talk about reality constraints that influence us.
