|Short Bio:|| Marc Bernard is a Chief Architect in the SAP Customer Solution Adoption group with a focus on in-memory computing technology, enterprise data warehousing, and business intelligence. He has been with SAP since 1997 and has more than twelve years of experience in functions for SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse specializing in business planning applications. With over eight years of experience in SAP NetWeaver BW Accelerator, Marc is one of SAP's most valuable assets for these solutions. Since 2010, Marc has been engaged in the launch of the SAP HANA solution, the first of a new generation of business applications that harness in-memory computing.
In his role as Chief Architect he has a strategic focus on future development topics, works closely aligned with the development architecture team, and is a trusted advisor for SAP's customers. In addition, Marc has very strong technical skills in areas such as cross-module application integration, SAP system and database management (SAP Basis), ABAP custom developments, and performance tuning. Marc has spoken at SAP-sponsored events such as SAPPHIRE, WIS BI Conferences, SAP TechEd, and ASUG forums. On a regular basis, he contributes to SAP's methodology by creating how-to papers and hosting know-how conference calls. He is also a moderator for the SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse forums on the SAP Developer Network.
