In the last weeks the SAP Mentors have had some magic moments again. They never stop to amaze me with their enthusiasm, ingenuity and plain old fun. They are a joy to work with (most of the time 😉

The following screen shot demonstrates one such episode. It was taken from the recording of the SAP Inside Track Bangalore webcast around certification. My colleague Aslan Noghre-kar is becoming a virtuoso in setting these up throughout the world culminating in last week's joined session between the Inside Track in Brussels and Sao Paulo.

What you see is the web camera feed from Bangalore. In the lower right we have SAP Mentor Mrinal Wadhwa who together with fellow mentors Somnath Manna, Abesh Bhattacharjee and the help of Shweta Kesarwani, who opened the doors at SAP Labs, organized the SAP Inside Track.

It is Saturday 2pm in the afternoon. All of the may be 50 people in the room have taken time out from their precious weekend to geek out with their fellow SAP Community members.

That alone is already amazing, but if you go around the picture you realize, that the SAP Mentors who have joined from all over the world have fought the time zones and are fully engaged sometimes at 4:30 in the morning.

They could have joined for an hour, do their session and went on their marry way to enjoy the rest of their weekend. But they stayed and engaged for full three hours until the SAP Inside Track in Bangalore was over.  Not only that, but they agreed on doing a quick debrief to talk about what they have learned and what can be done better next time for another 15 minutes. That is just amazing dedication. It blows my mind.

They were not the only mentors from faraway places that joined that day.  Anne Katherine Petteroe joined Mrinal earlier in the day for the The State of Enterprise  UI session.

I am humbled by that level of engagement of our mentors. So much so, that I made this screenshot my desktop background.

Thank you so much SAP Mentors, you never stop to amaze me.
