Which type of Suite components are affected by the SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.3 enablement?

JAVA Applications (e.g. ESS/MSS/CRM Internet Sales): Here, SAP enabled most of the existing JAVA applications by introducing new software component versions with the Build-Time of SAP NetWeaver 7.3 (e.g. SAP SAP ESS 633). For detailed information please see attachment of notes 1468349/1615463. When using SAP NetWeaver 7.3, there are no functional changes for the Java applications of the Business Suite.

Content for EP Hub: Most of the existing Business Packages (Portal Content) are compatible to SAP NW Enterprise Portal 7.3. In this case no new Software Component Version had to be introduced. Therefore during an upgrade from previous SAP NetWeaver Portal releases, those Business Packages get only updated to the latest SP version, but no change to new Software Component Versions is required.

WD ABAP/Dypro Application: not affected as they run on the ABAP system.
