Introduction
On request of Adobe EMEA and SAP Education The Netherlands, NL for Business has developed a new course curriculum for SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe. This course curriculum will be available through SAP Education and Adobe Trainings center in Europe. The ABAP curriculum consists of two courses:
- Interactive Forms ABAP Development Introduction (WNLADO)
- Advanced ABAP Interactive Forms for ECC (WNLADV).
The JAVA curriculum consists also of two courses:
- Interactive Forms JAVA Development Introduction (WNLADJ)
- Advanced JAVA Interactive Forms for Composite Environment (WNLAJA).
All courses fit tightly into the SAP overall course curriculum of SAP Programming, SAP NetWeaver Programming Core.
WNLADO - Interactive Forms ABAP Development Introduction
This intensive SAP Interactive Forms Course Program has three components: classroom education, sharing practical experience and networking with experts. It has been designed as an intense program to give the participants basic knowledge to avoid the known pitfalls and to make a quick start working with Interactive Forms. Lots of hands on exercises are part of this course.
After attending the development course the participants will be able to create, in several ways, their own Interactive Forms using this Adobe Document Server (ADS) within a SAP NetWeaver 2004s environment.
Participants will find the experience challenging and highly rewarding. They will have the dedicated support of experienced SAP Interactive Forms coaches throughout and after the attendance of the courses.
Prerequisites
Programming knowledge, SAPNW SAP NetWeaver Overview, BC400 ABAP Workbench Foundations, BC401 ABAP Objects.
Preferably: ABAP Web Dynpro knowledge

Course Content
Unit 1 - Introduction (day 1)
In this unit the partnership between SAP and Adobe will be explained and the proposition of SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe will be told. Next a couple of Business Scenario's will be explained and standard scenarios will be shown.
Unit 2 - Technical Overview (day 1)
In this unit an overall architecture Overview will be introduced. From this overview all separate components will be explained: Portable Document Format (PDF), Adobe Document Server (ADS), Adobe Arobat & Adobe Reader. The differences between ACF plug-in and Zero Client Installation (ZCI) will be told and the minimal requirements for a design and runtime will be explained.
Unit 3 - Stand-alone Scenario (day 1)
This unit will explain the Adobe tool ‘Adobe Designer’ for developing interactive forms: You will learn how to use this tool and will end with exercises to develop your own interactive Form. Also the handling of external data will be explained. This will be the base for all other scenarios.
Unit 4 - Offline Scenario (day 2)
SAP Transaction “Form Builder” is the development environment for creating Interactive forms in the ABAP environment. Adobe Document Server function modules and email classes will be used to create PDF documents and email them as attachments
Unit 5 - Online Scenario (day 3)
The main topics of this unit are Scripting and online processing. The focus will be on Web Dynpro for Abap but also the other solutions will be introduced.
Unit 6 - Upload Scenario (day 4)
This unit will be focus on the PDF object, which gives access to all functionality of the Adobe Document Server and the PDF document. An upload scenario will be used to explain the connection between an online and offline scenario
