It's been a while since I last wrote something about the code exchange platform. Code exchange has been in a closed beta phase since last years TechEd in Vienna.
A lot of happened since that time:
- We had several News from the extended code exchange product team that are part of the Code Exchange Extended Product Team
- We found a good solution on how to get ABAP support for Code Exchange
(thanks a lot to Gregor Wolf
!!!) and also worked on the Code Exchange Terms Of Use - The New Community Developer License is available, the license you need to post your code on Code Exchange, was setup and rolled out to the SCN community and has been downloaded
quite extensively already. - The EnterpriseGeeks made a SAP Community Developer License in an Enterprise Geeks' podcastwhere they put us on "the hot seat" talking about the Code Exchange Terms Of Use
- We collected some very interesting projects out there and convinced users to share their code with you
Now we will open up the system for the complete SCN until TechEd 2010 in Berlin.
Together with the go-live date you'll get already a whole bunch of interesting and useful projects for your day-to-day work with SAP technology.
In case you'd like to get access to all the code from the very first minute:
- print out the Code Exchange Terms Of Use
- fill it out and send it to us via fax or email (see details on the last page of the Terms Of Use)
Once the system is available you'll have instant access to ALL projects and their code.
Stay tuned. We'll give you more details soon.
