Alert/Notification always keeps us updated. By subscribing to the SDN RSS Feed you will be notified in email about the new Blogs. You can either subscribe to the entire SAP Blog Category or selected topic of your interest.

To subscribe a Blog feed, go to the Blog Catagory and give your email id and subscribe in the feed. For example XI Blogs subscription can be done from SAP XI Blog home page and registering your email id in the RSS Feed as shown below.

Above specified is a standard way and with the power of Google labs you can even get notified about the new Blogs with a text SMS sent to your mobile. You can subscribe to a Google SMS channel and get notified to your mobile.I have created a SMS channel for receiving SAP XI Blog alerts. To subscribe to this all you need is a Google account and your mobile number activation in it.

1. Logon to Google India SMS Channels.

2. Register your mobile number.

(You will require to Set a Nick Name --> Send Verification Code ---> Confirm the Code sent to your mobile; to register your number. One mobile can be registered only once.)

3. Subscribe to the SAP XI Blog SMS channel.

Upon subscription all the Blog feeds will be notified to you through a text message.

(You can unsubscribe to the SMS channel at any point of time.)

I have created the following SMS channels for you to subscribe.

1. SAP XI Blog

2. SAP BPM Blog

3. SAP SOA Blog

These SMS channels are available only in Google India and to Indian mobile users.

I have created only three channels and not for all the SAP Blog category as I would be notified for all, which may flood my mobile inbox :). You can create one as shown below and share that with the community in this SAP Blog SMS Channel wiki.

How To Create a SMS Channel:

1. Give the Channel Name and click on the search button.

2. If the channle is not available you will get a link to Create one. Click on it.

3. Fill the mandatory fields for the SMS Channel and Create one as shown below.

(You can get the feed URL from the respective Blog Home page in SDN)
