Launch of the Apple Tablet is only a few hours from now(ok we still don't know whether its pure speculation!) and my mind is already racing about what could come from the Apple stable next?

Avatar in 3D has been a big hit. In the recently concluded Consumer Electrics Show at Las Vegas 3D gear had a big presence.3D HDTV, 3D Blue ray players ,3D goggles and 3D camcorders!

But major problems with 3D consumer electronics are:
1) Too Expensive.
1) Not too much 3D content being produced.
2)3D glasses: Even if you get the content to actually watch, it you need those 3D glasses. Mass viewing goes for a toss.
3)2D content doesn't look good on a 3D enabled tv .The technology to map 2D content to 3D is still in very initial stages.

Apple is famous for its disruptive innovations. Everything it does has an elegance and art form to it ,be it :the macOS,the iPhone, the iPod,the macBook ....
Steve Jobs has had a stint with the 3D animation world and he's now one of the steering committee members for the Pixar -Walt Disney collaboration.Mr Jobs clearly has best of both the worlds working with him innovators @ Apple and animators @ Pixar  and Walt Disney. Can we expect the 3D home studio from Apple next :D!

3D @ SAP may be we can have 3D data visualizations from the Business Objects Community.Exciting isn't it 😄
