Building composite applications at times becomes akin to solving a jigsaw puzzle. We try to make use of the existing pieces  to get to the the final picture. This can be both fun and challenging.Lets concentrate on what makes it challenging.

Did I hear unclear requirements, short timelines, change in semantics  governing the applications, distributed development, new technologies, evolving frameworks..?

Yes each of these make our jobs interesting. This dynamism is the fundamental nature  of highly collaborative user centric applications and I am sure you would agree that we can expect it to stay that way, unless a process is discovered to manufacture software like cars i.e. on an assembly line !

So how do we deal with this?

This is what we (me and my colleague Arvind Goel) would like to discuss  in a session that we are presenting at SAPTechEd Bangalore 2010. The session is called "Advanced Composite Patterns in SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment"[CD301].

We would be sharing some of our learnings(at times learnt the hard way) that we have had over the years. We hope that the session would enable you to add the SEAL of flexibility to your composite applications.[SEAL-SoC,Extensibility,Agility and Loose Coupling]

A related blog on the same session by SAP Mentor and Principal Solution Architect steinermatt/blog  can be found Loose-coupling and strong bonding @ TechEd 2010 .

Hoping to see you there!

PS: did you know there is going to be an innovation weekend at TechEd Bangalore.
