After a quick series of direct message non-public twitter conversations today, I realized once again the value of contributing or sharing information with others in the SAP Community.  I think the most important part of it is that someone was able to benefit from something that I contributed over a year ago.  I have also seen this in other cases where the blog or content was several years old and then I have to figure out what I written.

Unfortuantely right now this blog is going to be more "do as I say, not as I do" as I have been on radio silence from SCN for the last several months.  However I have a good explanation which is of couse the following

     - I'm writing a book with a friend of mine on a whole series of CRM technical topics(need to be finished by October 1st)

     - I'm training for half marathon which means when I'm not writing in the evenings, I'm running

     - I still need to have a personal life outside of everything else

That being said my twitter conversation today still showed me that my old contributions still can have an impact.  It also proved to me that I enjoy answering/helping others in the community when my time allows and I have the bandwidth to engage back.  Right now I think I'm not seeking out questions to answer, but rather if they pop across my radar and don't get lost in my inboxes or shuffle I try to answer.  I can't answer everything quickly, however there is a question in my inbox that I will try to answer in the future when possible.  The strange part is somehow it's related to a chapter that I'm working on for the book, but not a result of the book.
