Hi

I want to mass delete some 1000 POs in a test environment & reload the same.

How to mass delete those POs.

Is it possible to delete at header level?

or by item level means how to proceed?

Hi

You can flag all the items for Dletion using the Transaction MEMASSPO

But these will be still avialble in the Sytem Database.

If you need to remove these from the Sytem Completely then you need to archive the PO's using Transaction

ME98 - Archive with archiving object - MM_EKKO - Purchasing Documents

Thanks & Regards

Hi,

You can delete data directly from Table but it is not suggested to do so.

Yes, its possible to make table entry directly in EKKO, but its not recommended.

Its better to put the deletion flag thro MASS & then do the Archiving.

Hi

Archiving is A much simpler process than deleting from the tables, no one should propose to delete transaction data from tables.

How may table will you delete there are nearly 5 to 6 tables assosociated with the main EKKO table

Flag them for Deletion & archive them using ME98.... its quite simple & easy to use.

Thanks & Regards

keep the hands off from direct table deletion.

Get knowledge about processes and integration first. The more you gain this knowldge the less you think about hard changes.

Just go to transaction DB15, enter object MM_EKKO (this is the archiving object for purchasing documents). and hit enter.

You get a list of all tables that may keep data for a purchase order.

Just deleting an entry from EKKO table does not make the related entries in EKPO, EKBE, EKET, EKKN, EKPA .... going away.

Dear,

You can use transaction MASS with object type BUS2012.

In this transaction you can select Header level or item level for purchase orders.

Try MASS with object type BUS2012 / MEMASSPO.

For Complete Deletion of Purchase order from System follow the below link:

Hi,

Use MEMASSPO to delete POs in mass.

Here under "Fields" Tab, select the line item "Deletion ind." and execute

Insert all the POs in the selection screen and execute

Then enter value as "L" and then click on "Mass change" button and save then check PO.
