Phrase Export and Impot (CG31)

I exported some phrases from development system using CG12 and get a *.dat file.

I then want to go to QA system and import phrases using CG31

The problem is that the phrase keys in DEV are totally out of sync with QA system.

Is there a way in CG31 when doing import to create new phrases keys based on current phrase key (number range) in QA?

Renumber phrase keys usinf Textpad, imported to target system using CG33 and merged to CUST library

Hi Raynald,

I don't think there is a way to generate new phrase keys in the import process.

You would have to do a change to the keys outside sap in the dat-file.

Alternatively you can import the phrases as theyare, and during the merge let the matching be done on phrase content.

With "phrase keys", do you mean :

or

ESTPH-RECN ?
