Adding transports to a maintenance cycle

I am looking for a way to add transports to a maintenance cycle that were not created through Solution Manager / Charm

It's availlable with SP17 for component ST

We have implemented the note but it does not work.

Is there somebody who is able to add transports to a maintenance cycle?
