assigning shipping point to plant

hi everyone,

i need your valuable advice to solve this problem. i am working in the IDES screen of version SAP R/3 4.7C (MM)

i have defined plant and shipping point both. now i want to assign plant to the shipping point. but when i am going to the assignment screen with the transaction code OVXC i could not find any plant to assing it with the shipping point.

please help me solve this problem. thanking you in advance.

Hi

You need to maintain the Config of Assign sales organization - distribution channel - plant in OVX6 before trying to assign the Shipping point to the Plant.

Once you copmplete the Config in OVX6 , you will get the plant in OVXC.

Hi,

use T.code:OVL2 or path:

(SPRO-> Logistics Execution-> Shipping-> Basic Shipping Functions-> Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination-> Assign Shipping Points), Here you need to assign the Shipping condition to the loading group assigned in the Material master to the Plant Combination with Primary shipping point )u2026u2026u2026. maintain the Shipping condition, loading group, Plant & Primary shipping point combination. The loading group should be equal to the Material master loading group & shipping condition equal to customer shipping condition.
