Upgrade from CRM 4.0 to CRM 5.2

Hi All,

We are in the process of upgrading CRM 4.0 to CRM 5.2. But I am unable to find a single upgrade document for CRM 5.2(SAP CRM 2006S) in OSS.. I could find it for others say, CRM 2005 and CRM 2007, but not for CRM 2006S..

Can anybody help me on this?

Hi,

Even i could not find the upgrade guide in the service market

place but you can find the upgrade guide in the DVD as per the

Note 1113852 - CRM Mobile Client Component: Installation/Upgrade 5.2 SP02

4. CRM Mobile Upgrade from Release 4.0 to 5.2 SP02:

to get information on how to perform an upgrade from a CRM

Hi Radhakrishna,

Thanks for your suggestions.. I dont know the difference between CRM Mobile 5.2 and CRM Server 5.2(ABAP system)... I believe CRM Mobile is one of the components in the CRM server..

So is that note similar to a CRM Server upgrade to 5.2?

Hi,

As far my knowledge they have introduce new and enhanced

functions and features in CRM Mobile Client Technology for the

SAP CRM 5.0 SP02 release

Do find the link below which will provide you with much information.

Give your service market ID and relevant password , you will

find the list of release notes, within that you will find the

enhancement of the same. ( "Release Notes Mobile Client Technology 5.2, SP02" )

Hi Radhakrishna,

Again many thanks for your inputs.. The documents for upgrade to SAP CRM 5.2 is available.. Service.sap.com/swdc>Installation and Upgrade guides>Entry by Application group->SAP Application Components>SAP CRM 2006s/2..

But we dont have access to view or download the document.. Only SAP has to say why..
