Hi all,

Can anybody explain Mobile Intelligence.

i want to see my bex/web report in PDA or Mobile phone.

kindly give some quick solution because it is very urgent requirement.

basically bw have so called 'auto recognize device' built in, mostly you have no need to customize anything.

with WAD, there is property "output optimize (device dependent')", you can mark it.

you may download some emulators (pda and phone) from site

Hi Kiran,

The only thing which u have to do is to use BEx Mobile Intelligence tool, which is similar like BEx Web just you have to use markup language as WML rather than HTML.

Hey Kiran,

First step,

you have to check that you have BEx MI tool avilable with you? It comes with BEx Web. Just check the BW tools list which comes with standard SAP GUI Installation.

Hi,

i have checked in the GUI components for BEx MI tool, it is not available. so i am reinstalling the GUI now.

but in the list of intallable components, there is no BEx MI tool.

so kindly advice me...

hi Kiran,

if you have oss id, you should be able to download the file. you can install bw add-on, WAD - web application designer is used for this purpose, it just like you create normal webtemplate, just it's optimized for mobile device (pda etc). i keep try sending you the file.

oss note 453142 contains info for mobile intelligence.
