SLWB transaction

Hello,

For translation purposes I wanted to use SLWB transaction, as in step-by-step guide >

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm310/helpdata/en/4b/514fa5257d11d3b29e0000e817ab98/frameset.htm

We have 2 BW systems :

- one BW 3.1 , where Initial run button is in the application toolbar

-the second, BW 3.5 , where Initial run button is not in the application toolbar

Any other way to choose Initial run (other then that button or Shift + F1- that does not work either )  ?

Any suggestions why the button is missing and how to proceed to Initial run without it?

Thank you.

    Hi Ariana,

The translation changed as of WebAS SP25 maybe this is the issue.

There is a link to the translation environment in transaction

RSA1 - you need to select your info area, drag and drop it to the

right window pane and then click on the Translate button.

Depending on your release, the system either takes you directly

to transaction SE63 or asks you to enter a piece list, to which

the translation relevant objects are written. Should this be the

case, you will first have to setup transaction SLWA (once) and then

create an object list and run an evaluation in transaction SLWB -

the system takes you directly to transaction SLWB. Once you are

finished doing this, you can call the objects up in a worklist in

transaction SE63. Please have a look at note 585116 - this note points

you to a location in the SAP Service Marketplace where you can down-

load documentation on the second option.

    Best Regards,

    Des.
