Organization assignment created via organization management

Dear all,

I am trying to do a re-org for an employee and i got this error "Organization assignment created via organization management" Message no PB 300.

Anyone have idea how to solve it?

Hi.

Its just a warning message. Pls go ahead with creating the record. Its because of maintaining 1008 IT for the Position u have choosen.

Thanks for your fast respond. I have done some investigation and i found that in po13 (put in the employee position)...there are 2 cost center assignment

1) 01.01.2008 - 01.07.2008- Cost center ERC 5003

2)02.07.2008 - 31.12.9999 - Cost center ERC 5008

If i change the "02.07.2008 - 31.12.9999 - Cost center ERC 5008" to cost center 5003. The error message will disappears. Anyone know why this the cost center ERC 5008 will give me that error message?

HI.

For the Position get the highest org unit and check 1008 infotype for that Org Unit if any Master Cost centre is maintained.

Hi Ramm,

Can you briefly give me some guideline on how to check it. I try to check infotype 1008 for my employee. It seems that the employee does not have this infotype.

Hi..

go to PP01, give ur position number and check relationships infotype. In org structure search for the position & get the Highest Org unit for that position.

Now check 1008 Infotype for that Org Unit..

dont check 1008 for employee... this is OM infotype

Hi Brian,

it's not an error message but an information message.

After performing the re-org via OM, a new IT0001 has been created in Personnel Administration for that specific employee.

No worries.

You need to change the assignment in infotype 0001 i.e Actions when u hire a person u assign position him over there .

So first you need to make changes there.

Hi,

If for the position, enteries are made in their Account Assignment infortype then it defaults when you hire a person for it. When you are hiring a person for the position and assigning different account assignment feature for it, you may get an error.

Please check the Account Assignemtn Infotypr of that particular position.
