Hi all,

In cProjects I found some sample object links. If we want to create new object links, what procedure we have to follow?

Can anyone please guide me through this?

hi,

the procedure as follows:

1. go to spro>>>>collaboration projects

2.go to structure>>>>>define object type for object links

here u have to activate the object types.

after double click on the object types, u have to define all these fileds for object type mentioned below

example:

Object Type 0CPROJECTS cProjects Project

Key DPR_TS_PROJECT_PROXY_INT_ID

Identification DPR_TS_PROJECT_PROXY_EXT_ID

Group

Search Fields DPR_TS_PROJECT_PROXY_SHLP_FLDS

Proxy Class CL_DPR_PROJECT_OBL_PROXY

Destination NONE

Web Server R3_ITS_ALIAS

3. then go to connection to external system>>>>>>object link in sap system>>>>>make setting for calling sap transaction.

here u can define the transaction for the object link, so that from cproject only u can edit material master, sales order etc etc , if u have authorization. here it open web based page for these trasaction.

4. then go to connection to external system>>>>>>object link in sap system>>>>>make setting for links sap objects. just u have to activate it once again

note: any queries plz ask

thanks

Hi,

You can find out the HR table by following method.

All personnel administration tables start with PA and the infotype number behind it.

All personnel development/OM tables start with HRP and infotype (e.g. 1000) behind it.

All recruitment tables start with PB and infotype number behind it.

There also are HR tables that start with HRA, HPD, HRT, etc. The easy way to get a list is to use SAP's 'Application Hierarchy', transaction SE81 (select all HR modes in the tree that you are want a list of tables for, click on the 'Information System' button, under Abap Dictionary --> Basic Objs, double click on 'database tables', increase your 'maximun no. of hits' and execute).

Use transaction se11...type in PA do dropdown and enter, do the same for HRP* and you will have most of the HR transaparent Tables. To access them look for RP_read_* and RP_provide* in Table TRMAC to read a infotype or use the 'select' statement to access the Transparent table.*

Transaction SE16 (data browser) is also useful. As mentioned above, the PA infotype tables all begin with PA and are followed by the infotype number e.g. PA0001 for the Org Man infotype.

PA - PA infotype tables*

PCL - HR clusters*

PB - recruitment tables*

PCERT - payroll posting runs

Another useful table is CATSDB for CATS, and PTEX2000 for the CATS transfer table for infotype 2001/2002.

The rest of the HR Tables are as follows:

DD01L Domains

DD02L SAP tables

DD03L Table Fields

DD03T DD: Texts for fields (language dependent)

DD04L Data elements

DD04T R/3 DD: Data element texts

Sorry guys,

Presently our landscape is different. We are using cProjects as an add-on to solution manager which is on entirely different server. We have then linked them using RFC connection. So HR tables will not be present in database.

As you already mentioned when we are going to create a new object type we should fill the key and identification. I want to know which Key n identification I have to give. For eg if I want object link to hire,

I have to create an object link for transaction PA 40. So how can I acheive it?

Syam

here in key tab serach for above table and enter it,

if there any key for this table it will take it, otherwise it will take this table as key only. save it

for hr there are only infosets not table.
