ESS Quota Overview "table is empty"

Hi,

Interesting problem....We have an SAP portal with ESS. When you go to Working Time -> Quota Overview one normally gets a table displaying your time quota information.

I have this problem that one particular user does not see his information. All he sees is an empty table with the message "table is empty". On the back-end his master data does exist since we can see it with PA30 and other custom reports. His portal authorizations as well as back-end authorizations are exactly the same all the other users who can see the information.

Please assist.

Is this user able to see all other details apart from this Quota Overview, or this problem is just coming on this single page?

Yes, the user is able to see all the other data. The problem is only coming from the Time Quota Overview page for this specific user.

Dear Elton

I am considering that you have assigned the same role in R/3 to each and every user.

Please check the time range defined for user in HR data by using PA30, whether present is not missing from that range.

If it is fine then ask user to log on and to go on the same page. Then click on to the button for personlising the page and set default page from there.

Yes, I have assigned the same roles to all users.

I have also checked in PA30. The period section does not have any date/period specified, nor is any radio button selected; but this is the same for all users. I'm not sure if this is what you were referring to.

If not, please clarify.

Hi,

FIrst check whether the data is getting updated in backend. Go to tran ptarq -> Test Application -> enter the personnel number -> go to tab "Time Accounts" -> Enter proper values in the input field -> click on execute.

If the values are displayed here then the problem is in portal, otherwise its a HR config issue.

I have run this report and the data does not show for this particular user. I ran it for another user and it shows the leave data. What could be the problem on the backend with this user?
