Cost center vs cost element vs GL account

Hi all,

I encountered an error messages of "GL account not match with cost centre".

May i know how to link from Cost centre to cost element?

I have the cost centre but then am unable to link the cost centre to cost element.

As a result of that am unable to link from cost element to GL account.

I have checked in T-code : OKB9 but due to the cost center is not maintain therefore i have no idea on what is the cost element.

FYI. I only have cost centre information only.

You can default a cost center to a cost element, by assigning the cost center in the account assignment in the cost element master data.

I think there is a validation written to validate the combination of GL Account and cost center.
