Purchasing grp

Dear All ,

Where can we Get The All purchasing Group in Purchasing Organisations As well All the PO Release Startegy under the Purchasing Organization in customization/ SPRO ?

Hello venky,

We are not assigning purchase groups to purchase organization.

Purchase groups can be used with any purchasing org.

Purchase group though is part of organisation structure is not directly assigned..

You can have the list of all purchase groups created and can be created via following path

SPRO---> material management --> purchasing --> create purchasing groups

in addition to solution menu path provided by Priya, as below:

SPRO --> MM -> Puchasing --> Create Puchase groups...

You may configure PO release strategy based on Purch Group also ...whereby You need to define characteristics for purch Grp using Comm Structure = CEKKO and FIELD : EKGRP

You have to assign this char to RELEASE Class also.

Purchase groups has never ever been part of the organisational structure..So it never attahced to the any element of the Organisation like plant, Porg etc...

Purchase group is independent and can be used with any porg's at any time....

You can see its independency here:

SPRO --> MM -> Puchasing --> Create Puchase groups...

You can assign Purchasing group to PO in the Purchasing Area in IMG ....
